There’s Always Something New to Try
I select six beers for each tasting. Each different from one another in style, favour and body.
Here is a sample tasting:
Thornbridge Tzara – 4.8%
Kölsch style Popular in Cologne. An unusual beer in that it is top fermented like an ale but matured as a lager. It creates a full bodied refreshing beer indeed! Rich fruit and hop aroma. Chewy, juicy malts and intense hoppiness with a hint of mango. Ends with a well-balanced bitterness.
Magic Rock Salty Kiss – 4.0% – Gose
This is a take on a traditional German style Gose, flavoured with fruit, sea buckthorn and sea salt. Tart, lightly sour, fruity and refreshing with a defined saltiness makes this beer an excellent accompaniment to food.
Tiny Rebel Cwtch – 4.6% – Welsh Red Ale
Cwtch (rhymes with butch) can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. This untraditional Welsh red ale – a perfect blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy American hops.
Thornbridge Jaipur – 5.9% – Indian Pale Ale
American style IPA has a complexity of flavour created by a six-dimensional hop experience.
Wild Beer Millionaire – 4.7% – Salted Caramel Milk Stout
Taking inspiration from a sweet dessert this is our salted caramel chocolate milk stout. Decadent in the extreme it is as desert like as the eponymous chocolate caramel shortbread. Contains Lactose
Beavertown Smog Rocket – 5.4% – Smoked Porter
Big flavour hits of molasses, raisins and caramel are cut with the resinous US hop Chinook. Smokey aromas fly, reminiscent of the smoke stacks of industrial London.
